“The End of Feminism”

From Catholic Exchange:

"While hysteria swirls around Sarah Palin, wife and mother of five, everyone would benefit by taking a large step back from the pandemonium in order to better perceive what is really happening. Her supporters rightly point to her affirmation of life and her ability to juggle family with wider commitments as the cause of a nearly unhinged backlash from liberals, but this is wide of the true mark. The actual cause of international outrage is not her motherhood, but the fact that she does not reject fatherhood. ...more

Let's Hear It for the Ladies Who Brought Us the 19th Amendment and the Women's Vote!

The many opinions of Governor Palin are proof that women can and do diverge on important issues.

Thanks to the suffragettes, women have voices and choices.

I'd like to let your readers know about an exciting and convenient free way to discover the true story of the suffragettes.

Most people are totally in the dark about HOW the suffragettes won votes for women, and what life was REALLY like for women before they did.

"The Privilege of Voting" is an exciting, new FREE e-mail series that follows eight great women from 1912 - 1920 to reveal ALL that happened to set the stage for women to finally win the vote.

It's a real-life soap opera about the suffragettes! It's shocking, sometimes heartbreaking and truly inspiring, and it's ALL true!

I hope you will subscribe, and share this opportunity with others. It's free at

Best to you!

What a great post, thanks. I was so touched by the comments, especially by the one from Doris.

Incidentally, I noticed the strange comment from 'virginia harris.' If she's the Virginia Harris that used to be on the board of directors of the Christian Science Church, I would pass on the link she is touting. I do know that during her tenure as chairman of the board of the CS church, she was really big into the whole history of the suffragettes. I also notice that there's no opportunity on that website to learn about who puts it out, what it's ultimately about, etc.
